As previously announced, Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski and country music superstar Barbara Mandrell will host the the concert, which will be held Oct. 30 at 7:30 PM in the James K. Polk Theater at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
Among the Broadway favorites scheduled to lend their talents to the annual fundraiser are Laura Bell Bundy, Michael Cerveris, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Brian d'Arcy James, Julia Murney and company members from the national tour of The Lion King. They will be joined by such country music stars as Josh Gracin, Raul Malo, Lorrie Morgan, Jamie O’Neal, SHeDAISY, Lee Ann Womack and Trisha Yearwood. Stephen Oremus will be the evening's musical director and arranger.
The one-night-only event, which will feature country stars singing Broadway tunes and Broadway stars singing country fare, will benefit TPAC Education and The Actors' Fund of America. Concertgoers can also expect a few duets, where Broadway and country voices will unite.
The concert is presented by the Country Music Association as part of "Nashville Celebrates Country," a week of activities that precede "The 40th Annual CMA Awards."
