Moving Picture, a world premiere by Dan O'Brien, which bowed at the 2002 Williamstown Theatre Festival on June 26, will close on July 7 on the Nikos Stage. Peter Jacobson is the best known name in the large cast, which also features Jesse Pennington, Armand Schultz, Gregor Paslawsky, Jorden Charney, Liam Craig, Jason Wells, Nathan Corddry and Robert Thompson.

The play set in the 1888 laboratory of Thomas Edison (played by Schultz). The inventor in on the brink of creating the first motion picture but is not without his competitors. The race to the finish line will test the loyalties of several people involved.

At the helm is Williamstown fave Darko Tresnjak (last season's The Winter's Tale). The Mainstage season got underway on June 19 with Where's Charley?.
