The recent star of Young Frankenstein stars in the television comedy based on the web series of the same title. Mullally is joined by Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Jessica St. Clair ("For Your Consideration") and "SNL" star Horatio Sans for the series, which will debut at 9 PM ET on ABC television March 26. According to ABC, Mullally stars as a freewheeling single mom, Rosemary, whose nontraditional parenting style lands her with a son far more responsible than she is. Hines co-stars as a recently divorced mother who is raising a pre-teen daughter and a newborn with the help of her "manny" (Horatio Sans), while St. Clair portrays the perfect stay-at-home mom with two kids.
The series will take inspiration from real-life stories of motherhood that can be submitted and shared through the show's official website, inthemotherhood.com.
A two-time Emmy Award winner for her portrayal of Karen Walker on NBC's "Will & Grace," Mullally most recently appeared on Broadway in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein. Her stage credits includes the Broadway revivals of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Grease! Mullally and her band, Supreme Music Program, have released the albums "Sweetheart," "Big as a Berry" and their latest, "Free Again!"
