Falcon Theatre presents the Troubaour Theater Company at its Burbank, CA, home for a repertory run of both works starting July 12 and playing through Aug. 26. Matt Walker directs.
Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland is billed as "a remix of the trippy Lewis Carroll tale to the tune of the greatest one-hit-wonders of all time!" The family-friendly comedy begins previews July 12 and officially opens July 20.
"Ready for Moor?" poses the tongue-in-cheek release about OthE.L.O. "Then don't miss the off-the-wall Shakespearean spoof... and see the Bard's classic tragedy in a whole new electric light to the music of progressive '70s rockers, Electric Light Orchestra." (Note, this show is billed as "not-so family[-friendly].") Previews begin Aug. 1 toward an Aug. 4 opening.
Among The Troubadour Theater Company's previous fused favorites include Hamlet - The Artist Formerly Known as PRINCE of Denmark, Much Adoobie Brothers About Nothing, The Comedy of Aerosmith, Santa Claus Is Comin' to Motown, A Midsummer Saturday Night's Fever Dream, Fleetwood Macbeth, 12th Dog Night, A Christmas Carol King, The Little Drummer Bowie, JACKson FROST, All's Kool That Ends Kool, Romeo Hall & Juliet Oates and It's a Stevie Wonderful Life.
