News National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Launches New Website The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Launches (NFAA) has launched a new website aimed at high school students who excel in the arts.

The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Launches (NFAA) has launched a new website aimed at high school students who excel in the arts.

Filled with scholarship opportunities, NFAA's site, ARTSawards.org allows students to access programs through "video streaming, high resolution images and user-friendly site navigation." A key value to the students is that the site provides online application to the Arts Recognition and Talent Search (ARTS), NFAA's main program.

NFAA says that, through ARTS, the organization "annually grants an award package totaling up to $800,000 and makes available $3 million in scholarship opportunities through its Scholarship List Service (SLS)."

The early registration deadline for the ARTS 2000-2001 program is June 30, 2000.Final deadline is October 2, 2000. For information visit ARTSawards.org.
