News New Live Reality Show to Explore Sex and Other Matters The story of eight young adults who arrive in New York to pursue their dreams is explored in the new live reality show Sex and Other Matters.

Written and performed by members of the Nitestar Program, Sex and Other Matters: The Reality Show will play a limited engagement at Theatre 3 March 18-April 3. Directed by Cheryl Paley, the cast comprises Kim Arzillo, Kenton Cummings, Cory Gibson, John Henke, Loreslee Hernandez, Jenna Louie, Robert Moreira, Owen Panettieri, Dream Parker, Julia Pisetsky, Amanda Schill, Mario Thelemaque, Crystal Quallo, Amanda Gloria Valdes, Ryland Shelton and Electra Yao. Paula Wilson is the show’s choreographer; Danny Rockett is musical director.

Sex and Other Matters, according to production notes, “explores a myriad of social challenges faced by young adults in today’s world, including sexually transmitted diseases, drugs and alcohol, depression, gay issues, safe sex, self-esteem and awareness.” Each performance will be followed by a question-and-answer session led by a health educator. The actors, who will remain in character, will also be part of the post-performance session, which will allow audience members to discuss the issues presented.
