Performances of the opera run through April 23.

The production, which premiered last summer at Glimmerglass, is directed by Lillian Groag (who previously directed NYCO's Agrippina), and features sets by John Conklin, costumes by Constance Hoffman, and lighting by Robert Wierzel. Stephanie Friede and Renzo Zulian sing the lead roles.

The opera tells the story of Minnie, a popular salon-keeper in a Gold-Rush mining camp, and her risky love for a Mexican bandit.
