PlayBlog "New York Live" Goes Backstage at Silence! The Musical Off-Broadway (Video) Silence! The Musical, Off-Broadway's new musical described as the "unauthorized parody of 'The Silence of the Lambs'," officially opened July 9 at Theater 80 for a limited engagement that was recently extended through the end of August.

Brent Barrett and Jenn Harris star in the new musical as Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling, respectively. Here, Sara Gore from "New York Live" goes backstage at Theater 80 to talk to Barrett and Harris about the new stage adaptation and offers a glimpse into the Off-Broadway production.

Silence! The Musical has a book by Hunter Bell, with music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan. Directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, the musical also features Callan Bergmann as Dream Hannibal, Stephen Bienskie as Jamie "Buffalo Bill" Gumb, Harry Bouvy as Dr. Chilton, Ashlee Dupre as Dream Clarice, Deidre Goodwin Ardelia Mapp, Jeff Hiller as Pembry/Miggs/Lamb, Howard Kaye as Jack Crawford and Lucia Spina as Catherine Martin.
