News NYMF Gala to Honor Tony Nominee Kelli O'Hara in November Four-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara will be honored by the New York Musical Theatre Festival during a Nov. 11 gala at the Hudson Theatre.

"We are thrilled to honor Kelli O'Hara for her dedication to the theatre," NYMF executive director and producer Isaac Robert Hurwitz said in a statement. "Kelli is that rare breed of musical theatre star that is a chameleon and her talent on stage is only outmatched by her passion for the craft. We feel honored to have her support." O'Hara is currently starring in the Broadway musical Nice Work If You Can Get It, for which she was Tony Award-nominated. She also received Tony nominations for South Pacific, The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza. This spring she will star in the Off-Broadway premiere of Far From Heaven.

The gala, which begins at 6 PM, will celebrate the work of the artists and achievements of the 2012 festival. The evening will include cocktails, dinner and musical performances celebrating NYMF's recent summer run.
