The recording features music arranged and orchestrated by O'Hara's Pajama Game co-star, Harry Connick, Jr. Connick also accompanies O'Hara on piano on 12 of the recording's 14 tracks.

The recording features covers of Billy Joel and James Taylor tunes as well as original songs and tunes from the Great American Songbook. Also included is "Fable," one of the songs from Adam Guettel's The Light in the Piazza that former Piazza star O'Hara did not sing onstage in the award-winning musical.

Prior to South Pacific, Kelli O'Hara was most recently on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of The Pajama Game, earning a Tony nomination for her performance as Babe.
