Orbach, the stage and screen star who died in December, will be remembered with his renditions of "Mack the Knife," "She's My Love," "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," "Razzle Dazzle" and The Fantasticks' anthem "Try to Remember." Four versions of Cy Coleman's "It Amazes Me" will pay homage to the late composer. Listeners will be treated to interpretations of the Coleman-Carolyn Leigh song by Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli, Kitty Kallen and Julie Wilson. The radio program will also pay tribute to the late cabaret singer Nancy LaMott, whose "new" recording, "Nancy LaMott: Live at Tavern on the Green," will hit stores Feb. 1. The broadcast will feature tracks from the live recording, which is currently available on-line at www.nancylamott.com.
Hosted by David Kenney, "Everything Old Is New Again" airs Sundays, 9-11 PM ET on WBAI 99.5 FM. The program is also available on the internet at www.2600.com/offthehook/hot2.ram.
