Adam, who died in May 2007, age 64, from pneumonia, was the vocal coach for such London stars as Sarah Brightman, Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson and coached Michael Crawford when Crawford won the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.

Adam's last project was vocal coach to Helena Bonham Carter prior to the filming of "Sweeney Todd." Bonham Carter will introduce scenes from the film at the tribute. The evening will also include brothers Andrew and Julian Lloyd Webber, who will perform two pieces, including "Pie Jesu."

The evening — directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne — will benefit the Royal Brompton Hospital's Ian Adam Memorial Fund. Peter French produces.
