The series is being produced and directed by David Staller, who recently acted with Dana Ivey in Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Dates stretching throughout 2006 and beyond will provide an airing of every sketch, full-length and one-act play by the playwright.

The project got underway Jan. 23 with Arms and the Man. Malcolm Gets, Marc Kudisch, Cynthia Harris, Nancy Anderson and George S. Irving were in that cast. Fanny's First Play followed on Feb. 27.

Fritz Weaver will play Captain Shotover. Charlotte Moore (artistic director of Irish Rep, here making a rare acting appearance) is Lady Utterword. Malachy McCourt will play The Burgler. Michele Pawk inhabits the part of Hesione Hushabye. Lynn Cohen is Nurse Guinness. Laura O'Deh essays Ellie Dunn. Jack Gilpin portrays Hector Hushabye. Simon Jones steps into the role of Mazzini Dunn.

John Simon, who has called Heartbreak House one of his favorite plays, will be introducing the play.

Each reading takes place at The Players Club in Gramercy Park. All casting is subject to change.

All readings are on Monday at 7 PM, except where otherwise indicated. A current schedule, subject to change, runs as follows:
