The debut album from downtown belter Kate Pazakis, "Unzipped: Live at the Zipper," is released digitally on iTunes June 2.

Pazakis, who has appeared in Jerry Springer the Opera at Carnegie Hall, Off-Broadway's Newsical and the Actors Fund's benefit performance of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, recorded her live album during her engagement at the now-closed Zipper Factory in December 2008. The PS Classics release will arrive in stores on July 7. Brian J. Nash (Silence: The Musical) is musical director for the album, which is executive produced by Jen Namoff and Danny Gordon.

Pazakis' album features several arrangements and a new song from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years). The songwriter's "Clarissa's Last Stand" was penned with Pazakis in mind.

Songs on "Unzipped: Live at the Zipper" include:
"Hand In My Pocket"
"Breaking Up Somebody's Home"
"I'm Gonna Be Strong"
"Sleepy Man"
"I Will"
"So Far Away"
"Sin Wagon"

"I Just Wanna Dance"
"Clarissa's Last Stand"

Kate Pazakis has been seen Off-Broadway in A Broadway Diva Christmas and The Sexless Years. In addition to hosting the weekly "Mostly Sondheim" evenings at the Duplex, Pazakis is a regular performer on The Rosie O'Donnell Family Cruise.
