Morgan will co-write with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Purvis and Wade's 007 credits include "Quantum of Solace" and "Casino Royale." Daniel Craig will again play Ian Fleming's dashing British spy.

No start date has been announced; a 2011 release is the aim. This will be the 23rd Bond picture.

Morgan wrote the screenplays to "The Last King of Scotland" and "The Queen" and is working on "The Special Relationship" (about the White House occupants and Britain under Tony Blair) for HBO, and "Hereafter" for DreamWorks. He also wrote the screenplay "The Deal," also about Tony Blair.

Frost/Nixon was honored with the Olivier Award, the Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Play. Frank Langella won the Tony Award as Best Actor in a Play for playing the retired U.S. President Richard M. Nixon. He was nominated for an Oscar for the film version.
