News PHOTO CALL: A Sneak Peek at Bernadette Peters, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jesse L. Martin and Dylan Baker on Upcoming "Smash" Episodes The March 26 and April 2 episodes of the new NBC musical drama "Smash" will air at 10 PM ET. Here is a first look at the installments, titled "The Bells and Whistles" and "The Parents."

The March 26 episode, which is entitled "The Bells and Whistles," is described as such: "When Ivy (Megan Hilty) brings Sam (Leslie Odom, Jr.), back to town, Tom (Christian Borle) finds himself in an awkward situation. Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) and Derek (Jack Davenport) clash over their vision for Hit List, while both Ana (Krysta Rodriguez) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) struggle to stand up for what they want." Debra Messing, Anjelica Huston and Andy Mientus also star. Jesse L. Martin, Jamey Sheridan and Daphne Rubin-Vega guest star.

In the April 2 episode, which is titled "The Parents," "Leigh Conroy (guest star Bernadette Peters) joins the cast of Bombshell, [and] Tom (Christian Borle) finds himself struggling to diffuse the years of tension between her and Ivy (Megan Hilty). Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) and Karen’s (Katharine McPhee) connection is threatened by both Ana’s (Krysta Rodriguez) newfound success and an unexpected visitor. Derek (Jack Davenport) learns more about Jimmy’s past just as the public sees their first piece of Hit List." Debra Messing, Anjelica Huston, Leslie Odom, Jr. and Andy Mientus also star. Jesse L. Martin and Bernadette Peters guest star.

The earlier episodes of the season introduced a slew of characters as well as a new tone created by new series "showrunner" and executive producer Joshua Safran.
