Broadway and film vet Keith Carradine (Will Rogers Follies, Hair) congratulates his daughter Martha Plimpton on the Nov. 20 opening night performance of David Mamet's Boston Marriage.

A drawing room departure for Mamet, Boston Marriage is about the prickly and arch relationship between Clare and Anna, two proper society women. The conniving Anna (Burton) has found a new lover protector and hopes to share the new nest he has paid for with her lady love. But Clare (Plimpton), the paramour in question, has other plans, and wants to use the premises for a tryst with her new, young conquest. Boston Marriage continues at the Public Theater through Dec. 22.
