The Facebook Fan Day promotion launched virally on Nov. 15, 2010. In order to participate, any Chicago Facebook fan who signed up and recruited ten of his or her friends to "Like" Chicago on the social networking site received a free ticket to the Jan. 30 performance. The promotion ended once every seat for the matinee had been distributed, ensuring a house full of fans for the performance.
