Tony Award winner Chita Rivera, who was recently presented with the Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama, returned to Birdland Jazz Nov. 26-27.
Rivera offered selections from her most celebrated musicals in her intimate cabaret, including numbers from West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Chicago, The Rink and more. Rivera was accompanied by a four-piece band lead by music director Michael Croiter along with Michael Patrick Walker, Jim Donica and Dan Willis.
