The Elephant Man's Rupert Graves and Kate Burton joined their fellow dramatic players, Lindsay Duncan (Private Lives) and Liam Neeson (The Crucible) for the 2002 Drama League Awards May 10. Neeson proved to be the big winner for the day — not only did The Crucible win Distinguished Production of a Revival (besting Mornings at 7, Private Lives and Into the Woods), but he took hom the Distinguished Performance kudos for his portrayal of The Crucible's conflicted John Proctor.

The Drama League dolled out their Awards for Distinguished Productions to Urinetown, The Crucible and Metamorphoses. The prizes were announced at a May 10 luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.
