News PHOTO CALL: Gary Beach Brings His De Bris Back to The Producers Fresh off of his Tony nominated turn in the recent Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles, Gary Beach returned Sept. 6 to what is possibly his best known role the flamboyant director Roger De Bris, in the mega-hit musical The Producers.

The part, which Beach originated four years ago, earned the actor his only Tony win to date, for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Below, Beach is joined backstage after his return performance by the new Carmen Ghia, Brad Musgrove, and current Ulla, Angie Schworer.

The Producers continues to play at the St. James Theatre on West 44th Street in Manhattan.
