Written and performed by Heather Raffo, 9 Parts of Desire follows the mold of the company's successful one-woman show Golda's Balcony, which recently became the longest such production in Broadway history. Raffo portrays a mix of Iraqi women dealing in their own ways with the various tragedies befallen on them in recent history. Joanna Settle directs the production, which is now in previews at MET's home at 55 Mercer Street in Soho.
