News PHOTO CALL: Kushner's Homebody Emond Wins Lortel

Playwright Tony Kushner and actress Linda Emond were both nominated for Lucille Lortel Awards for his Homebody/Kabul and Emond, as the first title's title character, won one April 22. The awards will be presented May 6.

The Lortels, awarded only to Off-Broadway shows, gave eight nominations to Urinetown and six to Metamorphoses, both of which have transferred to Broadway. Theatre for a New Audience's globe-trotting Cymbeline got four nominations as did The Dazzle. Christopher Shinn's Four got three.
