Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat's Joseph Donny Osmond and Annie Get Your Gun's newest Annie Reba McEntire were the high profile faces leading 2001's Kids Night on Broadway Jan. 30 at the special "Broadway Blast" event. From 3-6 PM, the free "Kids Broadway Blast" at the Hammerstein Ballroom (311 W. 34 St.) provided an opportunity for kids to experience backstage magic, including such activities as "dance lessons, stage face painting, make up design, and trying on costumes from Broadway shows." At the Hammerstein event, Osmond performed two songs from his new CD, "This is the Moment." There will be a second Kids Night performance Feb. 6.
