The play concerns Veronica—portrayed by Durang favorite Kristine Nielsen—a woman who turned her back on religion in life and is now being lead on a whirlwind journey towards ultimate enlightenment by a Hindu spirit who refuses to refer to her by anything other than Miss Witherspoon. At left, co-stars Lynda Gravatt and Nielsen, as well as Durang, are seen at the opening night party. Below, several of the cast members are seen during their curtain call and director Emily Mann arrives at the cast party, held at the West Bank Cafe on West 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan.
