News PHOTO CALL: Murney, Benanti, O'Donnell Find Their "Corner of the Sky" at Pippin Benefit Some very special Broadway stars donated their time and talent to help celebrate World AIDS Day with a benefit concert of the popular musical Pippin on Nov. 29.

The concert, held in Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom, was a benefit for the National AIDS Fund and the Storm Theatre and featured Ben Vereen, Rosie O'Donnell, Charles Busch, Michael Arden, Laura Benanti and Julia Murney in the lead roles. Vereen starred in the original Broadway production back in 1972. After the event, a party was held at the Benningan's on Eighth Ave and 47th Street in New York City. Some of stars and guests of honor, including Murney and Andrew Lippa, Harrison Chad and Benanti, as well as O'Donnell and Pippin composer Stephen Schwartz, are seen at the party at left and below.

The original Broadway production of Pippin won 5 Tony Awards and enjoyed a nearly 5-year run.
