The play concerns the on and off-stage troubles that arise from a radical staging of Oedipus Rex in Boston. At the production's opening night, Playwrights Horizons Artistic Director Tim Sanford, Craig Lucas, and director Mark Wing-Davey are seen at left, above actor Lee Pace and recent Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson. Small Tragedy is directed by Mark Wing-Davey, with settings by Douglas Stein, costumes by Marina Draghici, lights by Jennifer Tipton, and sound by John Gromada. The production is scheduled to run through March 28.
