Anyone who purchased a ticket to a participating Broadway or Off-Broadway show was invited to a free pre-show cocktail party at Madame Tussauds New York and to one of the after-show parties, which were held at Trattoria Dopo Teatro and Zanzibar. Ashley Parker Angel and Alexa Vega from Hairspray, along with other Broadway performers, mingled at the pre-show party. The team from Fox 5's "Good Day New York" also welcomed the crowd and announced the winners of a raffle, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
