Playwright Wendy Wasserstein and director Harold Prince are mentors with the Theatre Development Fund's Open Doors student program. Wasserstein developed Open Doors which chooses high school students in New York City who have never seen live theatre before and introduces them to the art form through theatre professionals' experiences, performances both on and Off-Broadway and dinner discussions as a group.
