Kurt Weill and Ira Gershwin's operetta The Firebrand of Florence was presented at Alice Tully Hall March 12 with a number of Broadway stars.
Roger Rees narrated and directed the concert version of the work, which featured Victoria Clark, Terrence Mann, Nathan Gunn, David Pittu as well as Anna Christy, Kalif Omari Jones, Krysty Swann and Patrick Goss. Ted Sperling served as guest conductor. The show also included The Collegiate Chorale and The New York City Opera Orchestra.
