Following the annual Tony Awards is the annual Tony gala ball. Tony winners Gary Beach and Christine Ebersole posed together at the party June 3. Beach took home Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his turn as Roger de Bris in The Producers, Ebersole for Best Actress in a Musical as 42nd Street's star Dorothy Brock.
The Producers broke the record for most Tonys won by garnering 12, including Best Musical, Best Director, Best Choreography (both for Susan Stroman) and Best Actor. Proof was awarded Best Play, Best Actress and Best Director of a Play.
