The Select is the final work in ERS' trilogy that began with Gatz in 2006 and was followed by William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury, which debuted at NYTW in 2008. The Select is the first production of NYTW's 2011-2012 season.

The Select (The Sun Also Rises) promises the "tale of young expatriates living in early 20th century Europe in which journalist Jake Barnes, his former lover Lady Brett Ashley, and the writer Robert Cohn cope with post-war realities and enter the 'age of anxiety' following the end World War I," according to NYTW.

The ensemble includes Frank Boyd, Mike Iveson, Vin Knight, Kate Scelsa, Kaneza Schaal, Pete Simpson, Susie Sokol, Lucy Taylor, Matt Tierney and Ben Williams.

Designing The Select are David Zinn (set and costumes); Mark Barton (lighting); and Matt Tierney and Ben Williams (sound).

Performances continue through Oct. 23.

For tickets, priced $70, visit NYTW. The New York Theatre Workshop is located at 79 East 4th Street.
