News Pieces Extends in New York; Reality TV Stars Help Feb. 13 Benefit Pieces (of Ass), which currently resides at Dodger Stages, has extended its New York run through March 27, the producers announced.

The work, which previously played at the China Club and Theatre 80, began Dec. 8 and opened at the new venue Dec. 10. New Scenario Entertainment produces with Brian Howie, Thomas Hanna, and Paul Bordé.

Conceived and directed by Brian Howie, Pieces (of Ass) features original monologues which center on the topic of being an attractive woman. The work delves into "the perks and the privileges to the problems and the pressures," as described in a release. The evening usually is presented with a number of actresses and one special guest celebrity.

The current cast members include Julie Alexandria, Barbara Christabella, Christie D'Amore, Sara Rae Gore, Rachel Hollon, Danielle James, Cassie Pappas, Rachael Robbins, Karen Gibson Roc, Katie Walter and Lindsay Zir.

The design team of Pieces includes Pete Zumba (set), Daniel Ordower (lighting), David Gilman (sound) with music design by John Hanna and Danny Walsh. Baby Phat provides costumes, jewelry is provided by Vermillion and MAC handles makeup.

Brooke Burke ("Wild On E!"), Trishelle Cannatella (MTV's "Real World"), Kirsten Buschbacher (ABC's "The Bachelor"), Carol Grow (FHM's "100 Most Beautiful Women"), Lori Heuring ("Mulholland Drive,” "The In-Crowd"), Jamie-Lynn DiScala ("The Sopranos") and Jenna Morasca ("Survivor") have previously been among the "center-pieces". The upcoming Feb. 13 performance at 7 PM is billed as "Reality Cares Benefit" and will feature stars of reality television shows such as "The Apprentice," "The Bachelor," "American Idol," "Survivor," "The Real World" and more.
