The new Broadway musical The Scarlet Pimpernel tells the story of an English nobleman who adopts a secret identity, the heroic Scarlet Pimpernel, to do battle with the forces of evil during the Reign of Terror in France. The show had music by Frank (Jekyll & Hyde) Wildhorn and book and lyrics by Nan Knighton. If you've seen the production, please let other Playbill On-Line members know how it sounds, looks and feels like. Describe the plot, sets and music -- and be detailed.
You can post your comments -- and read those of others -- in the Scarlet Pimpernel subject under the Playbill Critics Circle topic on the Playbill On-Line Message Board. Playbill thanks, in advance, those who take the time to write.
