PlayBlog Playbill's "Alchemy of Theatre" Named Favorite Book of the Summer Playbill.com's founding editor Robert Viagas will appear Sept. 20 at 6:15 PM at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre to discuss his book "The Alchemy

of Theatre" (Playbill Books), which was voted the favorite of summer 2010 by the administrators of a reading program sponsored by Camp Broadway and The Drama Book Shop.

Viagas will be speaking at the 2nd Annual At This Stage Expo, a gathering of educators and the leaders of theatre troupes from across the country.
Focusing this year on "Youth Theatre," the event has the goal of providing "strategies and techniques for using the performing arts to enrich
learning," according to a mission statement.

Viagas will also take questions about two more of his forthcoming books, "The Playbill Broadway Yearbook 2009-2010" and the revised edition of
"At This Theatre" co-written with Louis Botto.

"The Alchemy of Theatre" was recommended "for every library" by the Camp Broadway Book Cart. For more information on the program, click here.
