Running through Sept. 2, the short play festival will offer eight world premiere one-act plays that will run in repertory on two separate evenings.
The run will feature scenic design by Robert Gould, costume design by Michael Bevins and lighting design by Greg MacPherson.
Dolores Rice will direct LaBute's Romance, which will be featured alongside Jonathan's Blaze by Christopher Stetson Boal (directed by José Angel Santana); Play With The Penguin by Roger Hedden (directed by Billy Hopkins); Wendy Kesselman's The Graduation of Grace; Neil Koenigsberg's Fit (directed by Merri Milwe); The Expenses Of Rain by Deb Margolin (directed by Laura Barnett); An Actor Prepares by Timothy Mason (directed by Maxwell Williams); and Alan Zweibel's Happy (directed by Fred Berner).
In 2009 Andrew McCarthy staged the premiere of LaBute's A Second of Pleasure as part of the third annual Summer Shorts Fest.
