News Ragtime Post-Show Discussions Begin on Bway Oct. 3 Broadway's Ragtime, sporting a new ad campaign this fall, will host audience talkbacks after Sunday matinees in October, beginning Oct. 3.

Post-performance discussions will be led by the show's authors (composer Stephen Flaherty, lyricist Lynn Ahrens and librettist Terrence McNally) and its musical director (David Loud) on separate Sundays at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, drawing the audience deeper into the world of the musical that won Tony Awards for book and score.

The discussion series (and a new ticket offer) is part of a new effort to lure family audiences to see the socially and historically-rich pageant, based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow.

The series hosts will lead discussion between the audience and the cast, crew and other creative personnel.

Following the 3 PM Sunday matinees in October, the hosts are:

- Terrence McNally, Oct. 3
- David Loud, Oct. 10
- Stephen Flaherty, Oct. 17
- Lynn Ahrens, Oct. 24 Those who stay for the "Ragtime Discussion Series" will receive a free "Ragtime Family Activity Book."

A family-friendly ticket offer is also available in October: For every full priced orchestra or dress-circle ticket bought by an adult (excluding Wednesday matinees and Friday and Saturday performances), a free "family member ticket" is given for a child guest.

When ordering by phone or at the box office, mention the JFAM code.
