News Reading of Becoming Tennessee Musical, Featuring Bryan Batt, Presented March 2 The Directors Company in association with Dale Joan Young present a staged reading of the new musical Becoming Tennessee March 2 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.

Directed by Michael Parva, the cast includes Bryan Batt, Jerry Dixon, Harriet D. Foy, Brian Charles Rooney, Derrick Cobey, Nicholas Galbraith, Douglas Lyons, Ereni Sevasti, Carly Street, Ana Hoffman and Frank Vlastnik.

The new musical features book and lyrics by Michael Aman and music by Clint Edwards.   Steven Ray Watkins is the musical director.

Becoming Tennessee, according to press notes, is an "original new musical about the early life and career of Tennessee Williams as he faces his blue devils in New Orleans' steamy French Quarter in 1939."
