O'Hara has withdrawn from the Oct. 13-15 Kennedy Center concerts due to a scheduling conflict.
The evenings, featuring the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Steven Reineke, will also boast the vocal talents of Rod Gilfry and Aaron Lazar.
The concerts, according to press notes, will celebrate "the glorious legacy of Broadway giants Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. The remarkable work of the legendary songwriting team of Rodgers and Hammerstein has given the world some of its most popular musicals, including The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and Carousel."
Single tickets will go on sale to the public Aug. 10 through the Kennedy Center box office and through Instant Charge at (202) 467-4600. Patrons living outside the Washington metropolitan area may call (800) 444-1324 or visit www.kennedy-center.org.
