Proceeds from the calendar's sale will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The 14-month calendar will feature cast members — in their most heroic poses — from the musical including Marcus Bellamy, Reeve Carney, Julius Carter, Adam Ray Dyer, Drew Heflin, Craig Henningsen, Reed Kelly, Ari Loeb, Adam Roberts, Josh Sassanella, Brett Thiele, Matthew James Thomas, Christopher Tierney and Matthew Wilkas.

The calendars are $20, and proceeds will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS, one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising organizations. The Spider-Man calendar will be available at SpiderManOnBroadway.com as well as the Foxwoods Theatre.

BC/EFA is the major supporter of seven programs at The Actors Fund, including The HIV/AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Actors Fund Work Program, The Dancers' Resource, The Stage Managers' Project and three supportive housing residences. BC/EFA also awards annual grants to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

In Spider-Man, according to producers, "Peter Parker's ordinary teenage life takes a turn for the extraordinary when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and suddenly finds himself endowed with incredible superpowers. Parker quickly learns that with great power comes great responsibility as he tries to juggle the demands of high school and home life, while battling the Green Goblin and his band of super villains as they try to take down New York City and destroy everything Peter holds dear – including the beautiful girl-next-door, Mary Jane Watson." The musical plays Monday-Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday-Saturday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 1 PM and 7 PM.
