The season will launch with the Neil Simon classic Brighton Beach Memoirs, running Sept. 5-30, under the direction of Steven Woolf.

Following will be Daddy Long Legs, the regional favorite that has music and lyrics by Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre) and book and direction by John Caird (Les Miserables), running Oct. 10-Nov. 4. The musical centers on a young woman and her mysterious benefactor.

Rep artistic director Ed Stern will stage Larry Shue's comedy The Foreigner, about a linguistic mix-up, running Nov. 28-Dec. 23. Lindsay-Abaire's acclaimed Broadway drama Good People, which centers on an out-of-work cashier and her now-affluent ex-boyfriend, will run Jan. 2-27, 2013, under the direction of Seth Gordon.

Two stage adaptations will close the season. The first will be Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, adapted and directed by Jon Jory, which will run Feb. 6-March 3, 2013; and David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright's Double Indemnity, based on James M. Cain's noir thriller. It will be staged by Michael Evan Haney March 13-April 7, 2013.
