News Report: Hearn & Burnett to be Together w/ Sondheim at Bway's Barrymore Variety is reporting that Veteran Sondheimer George Hearn will star opposite Carol Burnett when the Sondheim revue, Putting It Together, plays its Broadway run at the Barrymore Theatre this coming fall.

Variety is reporting that Veteran Sondheimer George Hearn will star opposite Carol Burnett when the Sondheim revue, Putting It Together, plays its Broadway run at the Barrymore Theatre this coming fall. Hearn has previously appeared in the original production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, as well as Follies in Concert. Other credits for the two-time Tony winner include The Diary of Anne Frank, Sunset Boulevard, La Cage Aux Folles, I Remember Mama with Liv Ullman; Ah, Wilderness! with Colleen Dewhurst and Jason Robards; A Doll's Life (Tony nomination); An Almost Perfect Person; The Changing Room; Meet Me in St. Louis; and Watch on the Rhine.

Together ended its run at L.A.'s Mark Taper on Dec. 6, 1998. Along with Burnett, the cast also featured John Barrowman (London's The Fix ), John McCook, Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast, Triumph of Love ) and Bronson Pinchot (Zoya's Apartment ). Eric D. Schaeffer directed.
