News Ringwald Joins Farrow in Long Wharf Reading of Lapine's Fran's Bed, Feb. 7-9 Molly Ringwald, Veanne Cox and Adriane Lenox are among the cast that will join the previously announced Mia Farrow in the workshop readings of James Lapine's new play, Fran's Bed. The Long Wharf Theatre presentation will run for four performances, Feb. 7-9.

Farrow, veteran of Woody Allen's films, returns to the stage as the title character in the reading at the New Haven, Connecticut theatre. Her castmates include Ringwald, last seen in Cabaret and soon to be back on Broadway in Enchanted April, Cox (The Dinner Party), Lenox (Kiss Me, Kate) as well as Kathryn Layng (M. Butterfly), Harris Yulin (Hedda Gabler) and John Benjamin Hickey (The Crucible). In Fran's Bed, Farrow ("Rosemary's Baby," "Hannah and Her Sisters") is a sick woman who, on her death bed, reveals the many secrets of her life to her two grown daughters. Lapine, a three-time Tony Award winner for his musical books to Into the Woods, Falsettos and Passion, directs the reading of his family drama.

The performances of Fran's Bed are as follows Feb. 7 and 8 at 8 PM as well as the two performances Feb. 9 at 2 and 7 PM.
