News Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver to Co-star in Upcoming Film "Red Lights" Academy Award winner Robert De Niro and Tony and Oscar nominee Sigourney Weaver will team up for the film "Red Lights," according to ABC News.

The psychological thriller, to be written, produced and directed by Rodrigo Cortes, follows a psychologist (Weaver) who studies paranormal activity and meets up with a famous psychic (De Niro). Shooting is scheduled to begin in February 2011. De Niro won a Theatre World Award for his Broadway debut in Cuba & His Teddy Bear, in addition to his Oscars for "The Godfather Part II" and "Raging Bull." His many other film credits include "Machete," "The Good Shepherd," the "Meet the Parents" and "Analyze This" films, "Wag the Dog," "Marvin's Room," "Casino," "A Bronx Tale," "Goodfellas," "The Untouchables," "Taxi Driver" and "Mean Streets."

Weaver, a Tony nominee for Hurlyburly, appeared Off-Broadway in Crazy Mary, Mrs. Farnsworth, The Mercy Seat and The Guys. An Oscar nominee for "Aliens," "Working Girl" and "Gorillas in the Mist," other film credits include "You Again," "Avatar" and "Ghostbusters."
