PlayBlog Rosie O'Donnell Recalls Late Fiddler Creators Last week Playbill.com had the chance to speak with talk-show host and Broadway star Rosie O'Donnell during the opening-night party of The Pee-wee Herman Show.

O'Donnell spoke of her hopes to make a Broadway return as Miss Hannigan in the upcoming 2012 revival of Annie and also reminisced about her experiences in another Tony Award-winning musical, Fiddler on the Roof.

In 2005 O'Donnell stepped into the role of Golde opposite Harvey Fierstein as Tevye in the revival of the classic musical. In recent weeks Broadway lost Fiddler book writer Joseph Stein and composer Jerry Bock. We spoke with O'Donnell about the loss of the two Broadway greats and her experience performing their work.
