Jeffery Tambor ("Arrested Development") and Melanie Lynskey ("Up in the Air") will co-star. "Win Win" will be directed by Tom McCarthy, who co-wrote the film. McCarthy also wrote and directed "The Visitor" and "The Station Agent," and starred in the fifth and final season of HBO's "The Wire."
In the film Giamatti, according to the industry paper, "plays a struggling attorney who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach. All aspects of his life are thrown in the air when he becomes the legal guardian of a client whose grandson shows up on his doorstep."
Amy Ryan is a twice Tony-nominated actress, first for her role in a 2000 production of Uncle Vanya and again in 2005 for her performance in A Streetcar Named Desire opposite John C. Reilly. Other Broadway credits include The Sisters Rosensweig, The Women and The Three Sisters.
Paul Giamatti's Broadway credits include The Iceman Cometh, Arcadia, Racing Demon and The Three Sisters.
Bobby Cannavale made his Broadway debut in Manhattan Theatre Club's 2007 production of Mauritius.
