News Ryan Scott Oliver and Jake Wilson Compose Opening Number for Writers Guild Awards "The Battery's Down" creator-star Jake Wilson and composer Ryan Scott Oliver (35mm, Darling and Mrs. Sharp) have joined forces to write the first-ever opening number for the 63rd Annual Writers Guild Awards.

Connor Gallagher will choreograph the song, which will be performed by the event's host, Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords, "The Daily Show"), as well as Alysha Umphress (American Idiot), Michael Deeb, William Dehorney, Michael Fatica, Wes Hart, Sam Rogers and Constantine Rousouli.

The opening number will also feature music direction by Adam Wachter with costumes designed by David Withrow.

The 63rd Annual Writers Guild Awards will be held Feb. 5 at 8 PM at the AXA Equitable Center in Manhattan. For tickets visit www.wgaeast.org.
