Heading the cast of the intimate musical, which will run through May 4, are Denise Payne as Ruby, Joseph Kolinski as The Captain, Christopher Sutton as Lucky, Ryan Swearingen as Dick, Beverly Ward as Joan and Beth Glover as Mona. Kirby Ward directs and choreographs. Dames at Sea features music by Jim Wise and book and lyrics by George Haimsohn and Robin Miller. The musical comedy concerns naive Ruby who arrives in New York and falls in love with Dick, a songwriting sailor on shore leave. The score includes such toe-tappers as “It’s You,” “Broadway Baby,” “Sailor of My Dreams,” “Raining In My Heart,” “Star Tar” and “Choo-Choo Honeymoon.”
