News San Francisco's Jersey Boys to Perform at Emmy Awards The current San Francisco cast of the hit musical Jersey Boys will perform at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the Emmy Awards will be broadcast live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium Sept. 16 at 8 PM (ET) on FOX; check local listings.

Drew Gehling (as Bob Gaudio), Michael Ingersoll (Nick Massi), Jeremy Kushnier (Tommy DeVito) and Jarrod Spector (Frankie Valli) lead the Jersey Boys company, which also features Dominic Bogart, Lyndsey Cole, John Michael Coppola, John Michael Dias, Mike Erickson, Steven M. Goldsmith, John Hickman, Lauren Marshall, Rashad Naylor, Jenny Lee Ramos, Brad Russell, Kevin Russell, Jake Speck, Kara Tremel, Ryan Quinn West with Craig Laurie and Jonathan Weir.

The company currently performs in San Francisco at the Curran Theatre. The 2006 Tony Award-winning musical still plays on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre and will play in Chicago at the LaSalle Bank Theatre (starting Oct. 5). Productions are also slated for Las Vegas and London in addition to the national tour. On Emmy night, presenters lined up include Steve Carell, Kyle Chandler, the cast of "Entourage," Kelsey Grammar, Patricia Heaton, Katherine Heigl, Hayden Panettiere, Jimmy Smits, Jon Stewart, Kiefer Sutherland, Kate Walsh, Alec Baldwin, Stephen Colbert, Marcia Cross, Jon Cryer, Ellen DeGeneres, America Ferrara, Tina Fey, Joely Fisher, Brad Garrett, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Julia-Luis Dreyfus and Kyra Sedgwick.

Among nominees of note to theatre folk are Scott Ellis, Rob Marshall, Sir Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Eli Wallach, John Goodman, Tim Daly, Elaine Stritch, Dixie Carter, Laurie Metcalf, Judith Light, Kate Burton, Jean Smart, Alec Baldwin, Tony Shalhoub, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Mary-Louise Parker, Edie Falco, Sally Field, Queen Latifah, Harold Wheeler, Elliot Lawrence, Neil Patrick Harris, Jeremy Piven, Rainn Wilson, T. R.
