News Sarah Jones's Bridges and Tunnels Arrives at 45 Bleecker in January A new solo show from poet-playwright-actress Sarah Jones will be presented in January at 45 Bleecker.

According to the New York Times, Jones will portray a Pakistani mother, a Chinese mother and a gay man in her latest outing, which is titled Sarah Jones's Bridges and Tunnels. Previews begin Jan. 15, 2004. A recent Jones work was titled Waking the American Dream, in which the actress explored ten diverse immigrants to the United States who were personally affected by the Sept. 11 attacks. Jones explored similar themes of diversity in her previous one-woman works Surface Transit and Women Can't Wait in which she took on the intertwining personas of eight characters for both productions, garnering a Drama Desk Award nomination for the former.

45 Bleecker is located on 45 Bleecker Street, between Broadway and Lafayette.
